i have a e machines g720 model and it crashes while working or watching videos. then i have to shut down the computer from the turn of button on the top. any suggestion. i tried registry cleaner. My laptop recently got a virus on it from windows and there was no way of fixing it so i had to wipe the computer clean. The people at the computer place backed up all my stuff. SO i have my computer now and i havee all my documents and pictures. I dont have all my programs that i had, like itunes. So my itunes got wiped and i need to know did i lose all my music that i had on it. In the backup folder there is a sub folder for itunes but since it is not on my computer i cant access it. My sons have an HP one year old laptop running Vista Home Premium 32 bit. Of course, just turned a year old two days ago and warranty is now up. There is not a lot of software on this thing. I installed ESET Nod32 and it runs well. I just scanned and there are no threats found. No popups are appearing in IE. There is no sign of a virus anywhere. There are multiple problems that I cannot figure out. When we try to shut the computer down, it gets stuck in Logging Off screen. I try Ctrl Alt Delete to bring up Task Manager but it will not appear. I get the Icon down in the lower right part of the screen, but cannot click on it to open it up. I tried to do a System Restore. I select it, but nothing happens. When I try doing it all over again, it says that it is already running, but it is not. I have tried uninstalling things they dont need but the uninstall freezes up also and when i hit cancel, it just remains cancelling without doing anything. I am usually pretty good at fixing things but this one has me stumped. If I could just do a restore, i feel like i could get it back to where it was before this started happening a couple of days ago,. Any help is appreciated. hydroxycut reviews

Brand New Gateway PC SX2800-03 Windows Vista Home 64bit with SP1 Intel Core2 Quad Q8200 4gigs of DDR3 for RAM Intel GMA X4500 Intergrated video (vga and hdmi outputs) 640 gig My friend just got this pc for Christmas. They were installing softwares. They must have downloaded a crappy software to get this error. The last software they installed and all the problems started after the install was iTunes. Probaly didn't get it directly from Apple and got it from another fake website or something. OR maybe he may have visited an adult site and gotten the trojan/virus. Heck I don't know cause the dang thing wont boot up. Here's what I've tried so far.... 1. changed bios settings to boot only from hd. 2. tried booting into safe mode, it'll restart cause it'll get stuck right at cscdisk.dll 3. tried booting to last known good config 4. tried the "Launch Startup Repair"... that tried to repair but went straight to BSOD after 10min. I don't even get a chance to get to the windows logo before it BSOD. Here is the error message: A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
